La Maison de Campagne has a huge light and airy fitted kitchen with lovely oak worktops and lots of storage space, a dining area with double doors out on to the terrace, separate lounge, two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and double sinks.

Upstairs there is an array of original oak beams and exposed stone walls. The cute cottage style bedrooms  – one double, one twin – are dressed with traditional antique furniture and large comfortable beds. The landing area is furnished with antique furniture and a single bed to provide additional sleeping if required. There is also a second bathroom with bath and shower attachment.

Outside the property has its own front garden and to the rear a terrace area which faces east and boasts uninterrupted views of the parkland, the fishing lake here at Le Farat, and on into the French countryside
