Family holidays in south west France are one of our specialities. We have children ourselves (although all now grown up!) and understand exactly what makes the holiday perfect for both mum and dad and the little people.
Facilities for Child Friendly Gîtes
We can provide all the essentials required by our tiny guests: travel cots, stair gates, high chairs, potties, plastic cutlery, plates, bowls and cups. In addition we provide a toy box of quality toys and books for indoor activities and have a well stocked DVD library of children’s films.
Outdoors there is plenty of space for the children to run off some energy and explore. There is also a wealth of games for both indoor and outdoor activities.
The saltwater swimming pool is also extremely popular, as is the fishing lake. We are happy to hire out fishing rods so that you can teach your little people the art of angling.
Back inside the gîtes you can all relax at the end of the day. Our TVs are Netflix-ready so you can enjoy a film or binge on a series.
And when you wish to just take it easy we have walking routes from the back door! There are also many quiet country lanes here if you wish to experience cycling in south west France. Bike hire is available.
Relax In Luxury While The Children Enjoy Themselves
Our luxury child friendly gîtes at Le Farat make family holidays memorable and relaxing. When the children are happy, the parents are happy, or so the saying goes. We fully understand this as parents ourselves, which is why we go out of our way to ensure that guests with babies, toddlers and small children have everything they need to make their stay with us here in France enjoyable and stress-free.
Heading slightly further afield there is a wonderful play area at Bardigues, just a 10 minute stroll down the lane. With its seesaw, slide, climbing frame, swings and playhouse it is a real hit with toddlers who come to stay. As it’s en route to the Iris Café it provides a perfect stop off after lunch.
Babysitting
Babysitting can be arranged and carried out by ourselves, which means parents are welcome to enjoy an evening alone or a wander around the local markets happy in the knowledge that the children are well looked after.
